- The user expressly acknowledges that the forest is a natural environment which cannot offer the same level of safety as a public park, and that users must therefore adopt a prudent attitude and behavior that takes into account the inherent risks of such an environment.
- The user declares that they waive any right of recourse against the State and ONF in the event of any incident or accident occurring during the activities, unless a fault of the forest manager can be proven.
- The user is required to be aware of weather conditions and any current restrictions. In particular, in the event of storms, climatic hazards, drought-related restrictions or fire risks, the user must take the necessary and appropriate safety measures. For safety reasons, the user must therefore stay informed about weather conditions and cancel the activity in the event of an orange alert issued by IRM, without waiting for a decision by the UCLouvain. The same applies to any local prohibitions (e.g. prefectural decrees).
- The user is responsible for any damage that may result from the activity carried out. They shall be required to repair any resulting damage. In particular, they are civilly liable to themselves and to third parties for any offences, accidents, or harmful acts of any kind that may result from the exercise of this authorization.
